Crackers Comedy Downtown Presents Patti Vasquez

Crackers DT is stoked to bring you Patti Vasquez this week from Wednesday August 21 – Saturday August 24, and man, are you in for a treat…

Patti Vasquez, a Chicago native, got her start over a decade ago at Zanies Comedy Club. Since then she has gone on to perform three hit solo shows- “Pregnant Party Girl: From Stoli’s to Stirrups” , “Mamacita: Tales of a Diaper Diva” and “Tequila and Shamrocks: Every Flower Has Her Roots” written and performed by Patti for theater audiences. She has appeared in comedy festivals including HBO’s Las Vegas Comedy Festival, the Chicago Comedy Festival and Marshall’s Women in Comedy Festival in New York. As a regular guest on the wildly popular Bob and Tom radio show, Patti reaches audiences around the world. She is currently touring cities across the country with the Bob and Tom Comedy All Stars. Her unique perspective on family and relationships has been described as ”comedy with a heart”.

In her hometown of Chicago, Patti can be heard regularly with popular radio host Steve Cochran. Chicago based shows such as Fox “Good Day Chicago”, WGN’s Morning News and NBC Morning Show welcome Patti to promote upcoming performances. She has participated in fund-raising events for groups such as Gilda’s Club, Autism Speaks, Susan G. Komen, Almost Home Kids, Epilepsy Outreach and The Brain Research Foundation. Patti recently appeared on TBS’ brand new series “The Very Funny Show” taped during the “Just for Laughs” Comedy Festival. She has co-written a sitcom pilot entitled “The New Normal” based on her life’s experiences in a multi-generational, multi-racial, underemployed, special needs family. Patti is currently busy writing her first book “ZIP IT!- Just Because You Can Talk Doesn’t Mean You Should!” Check her out!

This is going to be an incredible show with special guest, Jimmy Roberson. Get your tickets here!

Get to know: Patti Vasquez – our Downtown New Year’s Eve headliner!

Patti lives so close, yet so far away, in the tinsel town of Chicago and we at Crackers are super excited to have her back and doing our New Year’s Eve show Downtown!  Call us now for your reservation, and read on to get psyched about Patti’s show!

How excited ARE you to rock New Year’s Eve with Crackers Comedy Club?!

This will be my second time to the Crackers downtown.  When I was there last spring I was amazed at how wonderful the audiences were!  Everyone comes out ready to have a great time.  Plus, the club staff makes the whole experience a blast!

What are you looking forward to doing once you’re out on the town?

I have two little boys and as much as I love my family I am looking forward to cutting loose a little in Indy!

Will you be performing any new material this New Year’s Eve?

I do have some new material this time around as well as the material everyone knows me for!  Every time I leave too much out someone comes up to me after the show and says “You didn’t talk about your mom or your sister in law.”  I try to mix just enough of the old with the new.

What’s your favorite New Year’s Eve memory?

Is it weird that the New Year’s memory that sticks out the most is that i got a midnight kiss from Dave Coulier who played uncle “Cut-it-out” Joey from Full House?!  He was super cute and very sweet!

(Side Note: the number of people I know that have kissed Dave Coulier is growing quite large!!  When will I get my chance….)

I’m looking forward to seeing you all this week!

Much Love,
RAH
