Crackers DT Presents Mike Vecchione

At Crackers Comedy Clubs, we put forth our best effort to bring the best comedians to Indianapolis. Laughter makes life just that much better. Which is why we’re excited to have Mike Vecchione joining us this week at our club Downtown from Wednesday, June 19 – Saturday June 22.

A little history: Michael Vecchione was born in Youngstown, Ohio and graduated High School in Boca Raton, Florida…. He played football and placed second in the 1991 AAA state wrestling tournament…He attended Pennsylvania State University where he earned a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and went on to receive a Master’s degree in Special Education from Cabrini College in Pennsylvania. Mike has worked as a counselor and Special Education teacher in the Philadelphia area.

In 2010, Mike won the People’s Choice Award for the New York Comedy Festival, was a semi-finalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, and was selected to perform at the prestigious Montreal Comedy Festival (New Faces). Later that year, Mike went on to perform on the Tonight Show starring Jay Leno and shot his own Half Hour Special for Comedy Central.

Michael headlines across the United States and is based in New York City.

Crackers Presents Mike Lawrence Downtown

Hey Indy, Mike Lawrence will be gracing us with his presence this week at our downtown location from Wednesday to Saturday, and we’ll tell ya what, you don’t want to miss him. A New York City based comedian, Lawrence has been featured as a stand-up on such notable national brands as TBS’ Conan, Marc Maron’s WTF Podcast, Paul Provenza’s Setlist, and John Oliver’s New York Stand Up Show, and has an upcoming episode on Comedy Central’s The Half Hour.

When he’s not working in NYC’s best clubs or headlining on the road he can be seen featuring for the likes of John Oliver, Marc Maron and Tom Papa, who shortly thereafter hired Mike as a writer for his pilot. Mike was one of the “New Faces” at the 2010 Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival and was back with JFL in 2012 doing their Festivals in both Chicago and Montreal, and recording for HBO Canada’s Funny as Hell. Does all this blow your mind? Wait till you hear his new record, Sadamantium.
