Crackers Comedy Broad Ripple Presents Scott Long

Meet Scott Long. I know we introduced you to him last week, but that blog post was really just focusing on his rock star “Comedy Booty Camp” that he’ll be providing for all those who are interested on the Saturday afternoon of August 17. Well, now is our chance to actually pimp HIM and his shows this week, along with feature act, Sally Brooks.

Scott is a nationally touring standup comedian. He’s been seen on a plethora of networks you may have heard of: NBC, FOX-TV, Bob and Tom Show, and ESPN. Plus, he’s been a writer for the NFL on FOX pre-game shows for the past nine years.

You may think his life is amazing, right? Well, life’s a bitch…Hear Scott’s story of being a cool guy until having twins and how he went from Hipster to dipster overnight. Sports car to Minivan. Can you hear the train going off the rails?

If you like dark comedy with some heart thrown in, this is your show. A master of improvisation, no two Scott Long shows are ever the same. Check him out. And don’t forget to sign up for his ‘boot camp’ on Saturday… which includes your admission to his show that night.

Sally Brooks is a comedian, writer and all around swell gal whose personal stories of misadventure and smart-assed nature make her an audience and staff favorite wherever she appears.  She started as a stand-up in coffee shops and dive bars in Cincinnati, Ohio and is now performing at clubs and venues all over the country, sharing the stage with comedians such as Bobcat Goldthwait, Kevin Nealon and Greg Proops. Sally took part in the 2012 Boston Comedy festival, as well as the North Carolina Comedy Arts, Women in Comedy, Brew Ha Ha and Cape Fear Comedy festivals. She is also the creator of the Suburban Housewife web series which has over 1.2 million hits on YouTube and has headlined her own “Girl’s Night Out Tour.” Check out Sally’s comedy.
